Consummate businessman and philanthropist, Engr. Dotun Sanusi, has been promoted Jagun Balogun of Ibadan.
According to a letter by the Olubadan Advisory Council, the installation of Sanusi, who is the compound head of the Olugbade compound, Oja’ba, comes up April 1st, 2022 at the Aliwo Palace of Oba Mohood Lekan Balogun, Olubadan of Ibadan.
The appointment of Sanusi, whose businesses span oil, sports, hospitality, real estate, agriculture and education, followed due process as the Olubadan Advisory Council, made up largely of Ibadan high chiefs have sent his recommendation letter to Oba Balogun for certification.
Sanusi owns the popular Ilaji resort and games village; Ilaji farms, Ibadan College of Arts, Science and Technology, ICAST, Ilaji soccer academy and numbers of real estate businesses in the ancient city.
In a chat with OYOINSIGHT.COM, Sanusi, who is constructing the first artificial beach, in Ibadan, expressed appreciation to Oba Lekan Balogun, saying that the monarch has started on a very good note.
Apart from Oba Balogun, he specifically thanked Otun Balogun, Owolabi Olakulehin, Otun Olubadan, Rashidi Ladoja, Otun Balogun, High Chief Tajudeen Ajibola and Osi Balogun, High Chief Lateef Adebimpe, for their role in ensuring that merit prevails.
