The Senator representing Oyo North Senatorial District, Dr. Buhari Abdulfatai has condoled with family and entire people of Oyo State over the sudden death of former Governor Christopher Adebayo Alao Akala whose sad even happened in the early hours of today.
Senator Buhari in a press release issued and made available to Journalists in the early hours of today said the news was a very sad one.
While declaring the death of Otunba Akala as unfortunate especially now that his personality at all levels of governments and wealth of experience to reposition All Progressives Congress in Oyo State were mostly needed.
The legislator said “Governor Akala will be remembered for his belief and dedication to developmental politicking”.
“He served Oyo State and recorded landmark achievements in every zone of the State. No wonder he was nicknamed ‘Oyato Governor’ by both the old and the young in Oyo State,” Senator Buhari added.
Senator Buhari prayed onto God to uphold members of his immediate family, the people of Ogbomoso, All Progressives Congress and generality of people of Oyo State and grant onto them all fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
