Minister of Youth and Sports Development, Chief Sunday Akin Dare poured econiums on a former Governor of the state, Chief Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as he celebrates his 77th birthday today.
In a statement released by his office, Dare emphatically stated that Ladoja is one of those who built the strong foundations of the success Oyo State has become today, and his achievements have been clearly written in the infrastructure he built and on the minds of the citizens who remember the dividends of democracy in his time.
“Ladoja has contributed immensely to the growth and development Oyo State has witnessed today. The testimonies are there.
“His 30-students per class initiative reformed the education system, which translated into more quality education delivery to the students.
“I also recall that Chief Ladoja’s government was workers’ friendly. He was loved for his policies for a better civil service.
“Today we celebrate him for all that he has done for Oyo State and the citizens.
“I wish him a happy birthday and pray that God grants him long life in good health,” Dare said.
