COVID-19: Oyo Records 213 Cases In 5 Days

Between Monday, January 4 and Friday January 8, Oyo State recorded 213 new cases of COVID-19, data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has shown.

The new cases is a strong indication that the second wave of the virus is and new measures needs to be put in place to curtail it.

On Monday, Oyo State recorded 13 new cases and 38 new cases on Tuesday.

On Wednesday 14 we cases were recorded by NCDC while 57 new cases were confirmed on Thursday.

The state recorded the highest daily figures in recent times, 91 on Friday.
