Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja being a former deputy governor, a former house of representatives member, a former local government chairman and a one time Nigeria ambassador to Jordan, I am wondering how a reasonable person would come out and label person of this magnitude and landslide achiever a political sycophant.
To set the record straight, Ambassador Taofeeq has been a well known and seasoned politician who has impacted the lives of many.
It would be a disservice to anyone who thinks or feels he has no weight politically and to make a good correction to those who felt he wouldn’t be relevant if not for the impact Baba Adedibu that they really got alot wrong; Ambassador has been relevant since time immemorial in politics till the point of his alliance in the election that brought in GSM and it would be stupidly wrong not to give praise to whom it belongs as at when due.
This is what I understand about the statement he gave on the success of the Governor and people of Oyo State on LAUTECH, which has led to some trying to crucify him for saying the just.
Governor Seyi Makinde has done really so well that he deserves the encomium he is receiving today which that of Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja isn’t left out. And I challenge those faulting his statement on the said issue yo come out with fact and not rhetorics.
Ambassador Taofeeq has been making much wave even at the demise of Baba Adedibu unlike a one time governor who keeps juggling from one party to another without any iota of dignity.
Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja shouldn’t be discouraged by the naysayers or negative thinkers or reversed thinkers on his unalloyed loyalty he has for the Governor.
And may GSM and Ambassador Taofeeq Arapaja succeed and keep progressing.
