A member of the House of Representatives representing Saki West/Saki East/Atisbo federal constituency Hon. Olajide Olatubosun has felicitated with the Muslim Umah in Nigeria, Oyo – State and especially his Constituency as they celebrate the commencement of a new Hijrah Islamic calendar.
Olatubosun, in his hijrah message to the Muslim Umah, hampered on the need for Muslims to continue to demonstrate the spirit of love and oneness which this period signifies.
He also prayed that the new year usher in a period of unprecedented blessings and abundance.
“Hijrah which marks the migration of the Holy Prophet to Madinah is a reminder that Islam, among many other things, enjoins Muslims to embrace peace with our neighbors.
“It is a reminder of why living together in oneness and harmony should always guide our relationship with our neighbors,” the lawmaker said.
However, he urged Muslim faithful to use this period to pray for peace and tranquility in our Country and most especially in our State.
He also maintained that Muslims should use the opportunity of this celebration to pray for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic ravaging the world.
