The Ibarapa Polytechnic, Eruwa, this morning began a strike.
Students who had arrived the institution for morning classes were stranded as the institution’s main gate is under lock and keys.
Though OYO INSIGHT could not confirm whether it was a warning of indefinite strike, it would be recalled that workers, especially in the state-owned tertiary institutions, are being owed many months’ salary arrears.
