A member of the Nigeria Geological Survey Agency, Hon. Akeem Adetoyese Ishola, has condoled with the Oyo state chapter of All Progressives Congress, APC, people of Oyo state in general and members of the family of Alhaji Babatunde Oreitan who was gruesomely murdered in cold blood at his Oremeji residence in Ona Ara local government of Oyo state.
Ishola, who paid a condolence visit to the residence of the deceased, described the assasination as shocking, wicked, barbaric and unfortunate.
According to him, “Alhaji Babatunde Oreitan was a perfect gentleman and principled politician during his lifetime and anybody who perpetrated this dastardly act must be wicked and uncivilized.”
He, therefore, urged security agencies in the state to quickly commence investigation into his killing with a view to bringing the perpetrators into book and face the wrath of the law. “I therefore charged Oyo state government to also give the issue of security of people and property adequate attention more than what’s being done presently ‘.
During the visit, Ishola consoled the family and prayed Allah to grant the deceased Aljana Firidous and the family to have the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.
