OYO RTEAN Sympathizes With Alaafin, Makinde Over Akesan Inferno

The Oyo State chapter of the Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN) has commiserated with the Executive Governor of oyo state, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Adeyemi and entire people of Oyo over Sunday morning inferno that razed akesan market that claimed one life and left several others injured.

RTEAN in a statement made available to newsmen in Ibadan by the secretary of the organisation, Comrade Abiodun Lasisi said that Makinde would respond to the incident doing a through investigation in order to unravel the mystery behind the inferno.

   

Abiodun said that RTEAN received the news of the inferno with great shock, saying that words cannot convey the deep sadness that the inferno caused the people of Oyo town and the state in general.

  

RTEAN also prayed that the almighty God will give the traders in Akesan market and the entire people of Oyo town the fortitude to bare the great loss. The association described the inferno as an unfortunate one that may affect economic activities in the town.

  

It prayed that God will bless all the affected traders in Akesan market and give the family of the deceased the fortitude to bear great loss.

RTEAN maintained that Makinde is a governor that has the interest of the masses at heart. “And he will definitely assist the affected traders,” said RTEAN, praying that the reign of Oba Lamidi Adeyemi will bring more progress, achievement and growth to Oyo town.
