More than 5 years after he performed his last lesser Hajj (Umrah), Governor Abiola Ajimobi, his wife- Mrs Florence Ajimobi, his personal assistant- Mr Dayo Iyaniwura, his special adviser on community relations- Alhaji Murisiku Siyanbadr as well as the chairman of the Oyo State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alhaji Taofeek Akewugbagold were this afternoon spotted in Makkah, performing umrah.
Clad in white clothes, they were seen performing tawaf, one of the rites of the holy exercise.
The last time Ajimobi was in Saudi Arabia, Insight Oyo recalled, was before the late Aare Arisekola Alao died.
He was said to have left for the holy Land on Thursday after receiving Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo who was in the state capital for a Christ Apostolic Church, CAC, programme.
