INEC officials in the local government have however moved to replace them as some young men and women are already registering at the Onireke headquarters of the LGA.

An INEC official who identified himself as Olusegun told journalists that they were surprised that some of those who served in the last elections could not report due to fear of attacks.

Newspeakonline can however report that there has been no incident of violence across the 11 electoral wards in the area as the new officers prepare to resume work.
