The letter read: “Hon. Kehinde Gbade Oshin aka OKG, an aspirant of House Representative Member in the 2023 election for Oyo Federal Constituency, hereby officially inform the party in the Ward, Local Government, Federal Constituency, State and National Levels of my resignation as a member from the party with immediate effect.

“This decision was as a result of irreconcilable differences within the party at the National level, lack of discipline within the party as members are involved in anti-party activities openly, Oyo Federal Constituency is being controlled by one leader and finally failure of Mr, Governor to honor his promise made during the meeting held with him in Governor’s House and Government House to pick a consensus candidate for Oyo Federal Constituency.

“After much contemplation, I have come to the solemn conclusions that I can no longer, in good conscience, remain within a system that has strayed so far from its original purpose. Therefore, I am compelled to part ways with the PDP. I wish the party the very best in its future activities.”
