2023: Over 100 Ex-councillors Declare Support For Alli, APC

    As the 2023 general elections are fast approaching, about 120 out of the 180 immediate past Ex-Councillors across in Oyo South Senatorial District have thrown their weight behind the senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Akogun Sharafadeen Alli and the party.

    The former councillors at a closed-door meeting held at the destiny house, Mokola Ibadan, the state capital said promised to deliver the senatorial district for the APC.

    According to the former lawmakers at the council level, they decided to support the party because of the quality of political bigwigs in the party.

    The Ex-Councillors expressed
    their support and pledged to work assiduously towards the success of all the Party’s candidates in the forthcoming general elections.

    During the interactive session, Akogun Sharafadeen Alli sought their support and cooperation for all the Candidates of the Party in the forthcoming general elections in 2023.

    He also assured them that they will be adequately rewarded like before for their activities and contributions towards the eventual success of the APC and its candidates in the 2023 general elections.
