Two top chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Oyo State, Dr Muraina Ajibola Saubana and Oloye Jumoke Akinjide have been listed as chairman and members of the governorship screening committee.
While Saubana is appointed to head the screening of governorship aspirants in the South South, Akinjide, Akinjide is a member of the committee that will screen aspirants in the North Central zone.
The screening is expected to commence today, September 22nd, 2018.
The South South aspirants would be screened at Rivers State zonal headquarters while the North Central screening would take place in Abuja.
Sabauna represented Ibarapa North and Central federal constituency twice while Akinjide was minister of state for federal capital territory.
