The aspiration of the secretary to the state government of Oyo State, Alhaji Olalekan Alli, got a major boost over the weekend when he visited Ido local government 
Alli, who was received by a tumultuous crowd of party members which included Chief Olayiwola Lakondoro, explained why it is important for members of the All Progressives Congress, APC, to remain united and work collectively for the progress of the party in the 2019 general elections.
It would be recalled that the Ibadan-born politician, who joined the race few weeks ago, had visited local government areas in Okeogun, Ogbomoso, Oyo and Ibarapa zones of the state.
At the meeting, All notes that his visit was to appreciate the zones for their loyalty to Governor Abiola Ajimobi and also to solicit support for his governorship aspiration.
He assured the zones of more meaningful projects if given mandate to serve come 2019, adding that he will continue the good work of his boss and ensure progress in good governance.
