The governorship candidate of the Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party, ANRP, in Oyo State, Olalekan Ayorinde, has visited partymen in Igbo-Ora, headquarters of Ibarapa Central local government.
Ayorinde, who was accompanied by friends and supporters, assured the people of the town that ANRP has come to shield the public against poverty and tyranny. In his word, “‘Eruwa as a whole is blessed with fruits but we export tomatoes and buy tin tomato at a very high price, hence the need for fruit processing company which I promised you.”
“Although most of the immediate government promised are not fulfilled I want to assure you I will keep to my promise. Don’t let us commit a fallacy of generalization, all we need to do is just BELIEVE in the due course of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party and the BELIEVE 2019 movement. We want to inculcate responsibility in every youth. We all all a role to play. Assign a Rep that will represent your constituency in the House of Assembly.
“And for the women, there is adequate provision for you. I am not only a man, but a responsible husband and a father. We also need your active involvement and believe in this course,” he added.
Meanwhile Ayorinde has also visited his alma mata, Ibarapa Polytechnic Eruwa, then a satellite campus, The Polytechnic, Ibadan, where he studied mass communication.
He was in the school to officially inform them of his intention to vie for the office of Governorship in the forthcoming general election under the platform of Abundant Nigeria Renewal Party. The students gave him a warm reception and also pledge their allegiance to the Believe 2019 movement.
The students expressed their intentions of the earnest craving for a governor who is a youth and that have realistic and viable plans and programmes for the youth.
