…Says Dualisation Of Orita Aperin Road To Ogun Stste Would Receive Prompt Attention From Tinubu’s Presidency
Chairman, Media and Publicity Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Presidential Campaign Council, Oyo State, Alhaji Kehinde Olaosebikan, has lauded the Chairman of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Engineer Dotun Sanusi, for his consistent activities in mobilising support for the presidential candidate of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, saying that his efforts have been very impactful.
Sanusi, a business mogul, philanthropist and non-partisan Nigerian, has, in the past few weeks, hosted over 20,000 people in his sprawling resort in Akanran, mobilising and soliciting individuals’ and groups’ supports for the frontrunner in the presidential race of February 25 next year, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“So far, Engineer Sanusi had hosted over 10,000 members of Odu’a People’s Congress (OPC), Agbekoya Solidarity Movement and Landlord Volunteers, thousands of Islamic clerics and Imams led by the Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheik AbdulGaniy Agbotomokekere; over 1,000 representatives of Christian groups across the 11 local government areas of Ibadanland; all the Ibadan compound and village heads known as Mogajis and Baales and the highly respected leadership of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII) all in support of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential bid,” Olaosebikan said.
Only last Friday, Olaosebikan added, “the business mogul who is also the Mogaji of Olugbade compound and Apesinola of Ibadan, mobilsed hundreds of youths, women and students for a house to house, street to street campaign from Olorunsogo to the boundary of Ogun State in an unprecedented political mass movement to canvass support for the presidential candidate of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the February 25 presidential election.”
Olaosebikan, in a statement in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, on Sunday, said the effect of the mobilisation activities of the Ilaji Resorts Chief executive Officer were already being felt across Ibadan and its environs, as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu continued to enjoy greater support and love in both the urban areas and the grassroots.
The Tinubu campaign spokesperson stated that the overwhelming majority of the people in Ibadanland and Oyo State in general had fully embraced the candidacy of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, adding that with the increase in the tempo of the campaign expected from the first week of next year, it had become certain that the entire people of Oyo State would vote for Tinubu.
Extolling the virtues of Engineer Sanusi, Olaosebikan said, “it is inspiring and quite encouraging to see what you’re doing. Without any partisan interest, no expectations of either direct monetary or material benefits, yet, you choose to expend so much time, energy, effort and funds into mobilising support for Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, just because of your conviction that he is the best option Nigeria has now.”
Olaosebikan told the Ilaji Resorts boss that his activities were already known, acknowledged and appreciated by the Coordinator of the APC Presidential Campaign Council in Oyo State, Senator Teslim Folarin, who is also the gubernatorial candidate of the party in Oyo State and campaigning vigorously for the success of Tinubu and all the candidates of APC at the polls.
“We thank you most sincerely for all your result-driven voluntary activities without any expectation for the candidate being done only because of your belief in the competence, readiness and capacity of Tinubu to take Nigeria to the promised land. Let me assure you that the campaign committee in Oyo State, under the leadership of Senator Teslim Folarin, is leaving no stone unturned, not only in winning, but also in winning over 95 per cent of the total votes in Oyo State,” Olaosebikan said.
The APC Campaign spokesman added that “with what we all know of Tinubu as a visionary and caring leader who has made the greatest contributions to human and material development in Nigeria, the APC Presidential Candidate would accord Oyo State a pride of place in his developmental plan which would definitely include the dualisation of Olorunsogo road to Ogun State.
He commended Chief Sanuni for turning around the fortunes of Akanran and Ona Ara Local Local Government Area as a whole with the establishment of the world-class Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts which has now given Akanran a global spot in world tourism, sports and entertainment.
Expressing satisfaction and gratitude to Chief Sanusi to the Tinubu campaigns, Alhaji Olaosebikan noted that the philanthropist was well noted with his selfless activities and exemplary leadership.
