A former senate leader, Teslim Folarin, has assured members of the Oyo State chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, cannot escape one of the two traps his party has set for them.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that the Supreme Court would anytime from now give judgement in the governorship appeal to be brought it by Adebayo Adelabu of the APC against the election of Seyi Makinde of PDP as governor.
Folarin, who is a third term member of the Nigerian Senate, disclosed this while receiving defectors into the party in Lagelu local government area of his Oyo Central senatorial district.
In a short video, trending on social media, Folarin said that “When they asked me to join those who went to Kogi for the governorship election, they said I have to join because Governor Seyi Makinde has said he would use the tactics he used to defeat us here to win Kogi for PDP. I told him it wasn’t Makinde who defeated us, God only answered his prayer.”

Assuring APC members to be calm, he went further to say “We are fasting, just like the Christians and Muslims, it will soon be over. God has answered our prayers in Kogi and Bayelsa and that tells us APC is the party to beat. We cannot afford to allow Oyo to be governed by any other party than the APC,” he submitted.
