Only few people would believe Alhaji Taofik Adesina Alabi is 60 today. For some, he is more. And this is because he has been around for long, in the social and political scenes. For some, he is younger. He doesn’t behave like a diamond jubilee celebrant.
But the fact is that the Mogaji of Ile Abikayin, Ita-Agbaakin compound of Oranyan, is 60 today.
The popular socialite and chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, who was at a point a close ally of the late Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Alhaji AdulAzeez Arisekola Alao would be celebrated.
Born without the proverbial silverspoon, Alabi hustled his way to where he is today. He had, at different times, served politically during the times of late Rasheed Ashagidigbi to Late Lamidi Adedibu to former governors Lamidi Adesina, Adebayo Alao-Akala and Isiaka Ajimobi, all of blessed memories.
With a dint of hardwork, determination and providence, Alabi, who became more popular when he chaired the Trans City Transport Company Limited, TCTC, now Pacesetter Transport Service, PTS, now sits as chief executive officer of Shortollab Int’l Property Company Ltd, Shortollab Int’l Poultry Farm Ltd.
The grassroot politicians had served as board member, Abuja Property Development Corporation, APDC; Director Of Mobilization, APC Oyo State; Tinubu/Shetima & Teslim Folarin 2023 as well as Apex leader Ibadan North LG.
