For their efforts in garnering support for the realization of the presidential ambition of Bola Tinubu, candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Abass Oloko, popular Ibadan Mogaji and vice chairman of the Oyo State Tourism Board, has chided Jumoke Akinjide, has commended Dotun Sanusi, an engineer and proprietor of Ilaji Hotels and Sports Resorts, Akanran.
This was just as he lauded his colleagues Ibadan Mogajis as well as notable Yoruba sons and daughters who rallied to ensure Tinubu wins the election.
According to Oloko, his joy knows no bound seeing Tinubu receiving his certificate of return, adding that it was a dream come true for him and many others.
”This Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s victory is something we have longed for. I can vividly recall how we were denied in 1993. Someone like me never thought it would happen during our lifetime. That was why I was emotional. That was why some of us didn’t hesitate when Asiwaju was presented. Some of us didn’t look at the party affiliation. All we wanted was victory for our region.
“People like Engr. Dotun Sanusi did well in mobilizing support for the aspiration of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. I don’t think someone like him needs anything personal from Asiwaju Bola Tinubu other than for the good of our land. The Ibadan Mogajis also did well in that regard. And history will never forget them.
”I make bold to say I didn’t support Asiwaju Bola Tinubu for anything personal too. I know for a fact that he would perform. That is not in doubt. He has done it in Lagos. His men have done it in states. He has the ability to select best men for tasks. He knows the problems. He knows how to get workable solutions,” he added.
