Family members and colleagues of Alhaji Gbolagade Akinpelu popularly known as Ogun Majek have commended Engr. Joseph Tegbe for coming home to his aid.
Ogun Majek, who hails from Ibadan, is down with a heart-related disease.
Tegbe, OYOINSIGHT.COM learnt, made his declaration early this week through his Tegbe Foundation
The son of the ailing actor, Mr Akeem Akinpelu who spoke on behalf of the family, expressed his immense gratitude towards Tegbe, saying that “I would like to seize this opportunity to thank Mr Tegbe for the invaluable help he has rendered to our family during this trying time. We want him to know that we truly appreciate the show love he has displayed towards us.
“We thank him for useful advice and critical financial support. We will forever be grateful to Almighty Allah for sending him to us.
Corroborating the younger Akinpelu, colleagues of the ailing actor like Mr Adewale Abdulrazak, popularly known as Shokoti noted that the call for support was sent to many philanthropists, politicians and community leaders, but only Joseph Tegbe responded promptly.
While reacting, Muyiwa Adegoke popularly known as Londoner noted that the situation isn’t the first time Tegbe had supported practitioners in the creative industry but they were amazed at the promptness and magnitude of the intervention.
Tegbe, who also hails from the state capital, was one of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the last general elections.
