Adedapo Lam-Adesina, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has been appointed secretary of the committee to conduct primary election in Surulere 1 federal constituency.
To be chaired by Buba Yusuf, with Ismail Jayecba Alagbada, Sulaiman Gazall and Niyi Akinsiju as members, the winner would be facing candidates in the February 3, 2024 bye-election in the federal constituency.
The Surulere 1 seat had become vacant following the resignation and appointment of longterm representative Femi Gbajabiamila who is now chief of staff to President Bola Tinubu.
