Speaking at the event, Jumoke Idowu, KAF’s Programme Manager, explained that the foundation is committed to using technology to create a more equitable and sustainable future.
To achieve this, she highlighted some of their programs like the KAF’s scholarship initiative, which provides financial assistance to students from underserved communities, and its Adeyemi Football Club, which trains and develop young footballers, harnessing the tools technology has provided in Football Development.

“At KAF, we believe that sports technology has the potential to revolutionize the industry and create new opportunities for young people,” Idowu was quoted saying at the event.

“We seek to support ventures in sports technology. From performance apps to tracking apps, geospatial potential mapping, and more, our goal is to bring talent to markets, opportunities, coaches, facilities, and resources, creating a place of acceleration and igniting an economy.”

In attendance at the event were prominent stakeholders in the tech industry, government officials, and enthusiastic members of the public.
