Minister of youth and Sports Development, Hon Sunday Dare has congratulated His Excellency, Governor Gboyega Oyetola on his victory delivered by the Tribunal today.
The Osun State Governorship Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo sacked Senator Ademola Adeleke as the duly elected governor of the state a few hours ago, on the grounds of Over-voting, stating that Gboyega Oyetola won with the governorship elections 314, 921 votes against 290,266 recorded for Ademola Adeleke.
Minister Sunday Dare who congratulated the Osun State governor in a statement released by his office thanked the tribunal for being just in the delivery of judgment and protecting the mandate of the people.
Thanking God for the victory at the tribunal, Minister Sunday Dare said the electorate who clearly voted APC in Osun State, to continue development in the state now have their wish as the peoples governor has been declared winner of the controversial election.
The Minister said he is confident that The All Progressives Congress (APC) will prevail at every level of the judicial process and also win the 2023 general elections.
