A member of the House of Representatives from Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola/Iwajowa Federal Constituency, Oyo State, Hon. Shina Peller, has expressed his sadness over the death of the immediate past governor of Oyo State, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi.
He expressed his sadness in a statement made available to newsmen on Friday.
The Iseyin-born federal legislator, who condoled with the entire people of Oyo State, the All Progressives Congress (APC), and the family of the late former governor on his demise, also prayed that God grants the deceased an eternal life.
“It is with a heavy heart that I condole with the family of our dear leader and father, Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, the entire people of Oyo State and the APC as a whole on the demise of the immediate past governor of Oyo State,” Hon. Shinna Peller wrote.
He described the late Ajimobi as a very jovial and extraordinary person who successfully recorded a great deal of achievements worth identifying with globally.
He also revealed that one of the numerous things he cherished about the late former Oyo State governor was his passion and drive for success, whilst he added that the deceased was a father who will be greatly missed by many.
“His passion and drive for success were what I liked so much about him. An ever jovial man, he was a father figure to me. I’m sure he’ll be missed by many.
“Our dear leader, your death is so painful to us, but we take solace in the fact that you have come, seen and conquered,” Shina Peller wrote further.
He added,”I pray that God gives him eternal life and gives us all the fortitude to bear his loss. Adieu Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi!”
