A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Oyo State, Yunus Akintunde, has described the death of Angela Folarin as shocking and unexpected.
Angela, who was the wife of the Senator representing Oyo Central senatorial district, Teslim Folarin, died on Friday night.
In a statement to mourn her passing, the Oyo-born politician described her as a woman loved by the people.
“Her death came as a shock to me. Angela was not just the wife of a Senator, she was also a grassroots politician loved by many,” Akintunde, a senatorial hopeful, was quoted saying.
He also prayed that God grant her friends and family the fortitude the bear the burden of her exit
