Malik Aderogba, an aspirant for Saki West State Constituency Seat at the Oyo State House of Assembly has urged residents of the state to partake in the ongoing Continuous Voters’ Registration (CVR) exercise to enable them decide next leaders.
Aderogba who is eyeing the ticket to represent the good people of Saki-West at the Oyo State House of Assembly under the platform of the People Democratic Party, PDP, said this in a statement made available to newsmen on Sunday.
The businessman said that the Permanent Voters’ Card, PVC is one of the tools people need to be able to partake in electing new crops of leaders in the 2023 general elections.
He added that for people to continue to enjoy dividends of democracy and good governance from the Seyi Makinde-led government, the registration is important for those that haven’t done it.
His words: “No doubt, Permanent Voters’ Card registration is key in the electioneering process. No one can rule its essence out in the process.
“Good people of Oyo state especially people of Saki West local government area who haven’t registered should register to enable them partake in electing leaders of their choice in the 2023 General Elections.
“Also, to continue enjoying the dividends of democracy and the good governance of the Governor Seyi Makinde-led administration, we must be equiped to keep the People’s Democratic Party, PDP in power. One of the ways to be equiped is to get the PVC.”
He congratulated the good people of Saki for the successful completion and commissioning of Saki dual township road.
He hailed the Governor for completing the road which has in the past had bad effects on the economy and social well-being of residents of Saki and environment.
