Tomorrow, June 9, 2018, ace fuji musician, Alhaji Saheed Osupa aka Saidi Osupa will host his annual Ramadhan lecture.
Billed to hold at Mauve 21 Events Centre, RingRoad, Ibadan, popular Ilorin-born Islamic cleric, Sheikh Sanu Sheu will deliver a lecture on “The Role of Islam in Politics.”
Expected at the event are the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola, Olubadan of Ibadan, Oba Saliu Adetunji; the Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdul Rasheed Akanbi, Engr Seyi Makinde, Alhaji Taofeeq Oyerinde Of Oyo NURTW and other eminent personalities.
Osupa said he organized the Ramadan lecture in order to use Islam to impact meaningfully on the society and particularly to right some wrongs that abound in it.
According to him, the society required periodic spiritual cleansing and one of the ways to go about this was organising programmes like this
