As the Ramadan fasting progresses, Asiwaju Adekola Mudashir, a former Senatorial Aspirant in oyo South senatorial district, has called on muslims in Oyo state and Nigeria to love and be generous towards each other.
The Ibadan-based politician made the call in a statement on Tuesday morning.
“I would like to greet Muslim brothers and sisters who have begun the Ramadan fasting. This is not merely a season of abstinence from food, drink, and worldly pleasures. It is a time to pray for our dear state and Nigeria, give to the needy and be generous.
I pray to Almighty Allah to accept our sacrifices, our dua as an act of ibadah and increase the unity, solidarity, peace and prosperity of our dear state and Nigeria as a country,”he wrote.
