The postmaster general/CEO of the Nigeria Postal Service, NIPOST, Dr. Ismail Adebayo Adewusi today distributed bags of rices to the people of the seven Ibarapaland.
Adewusi, a former Lagos budget commissioner who hails from Eruwa, said the gesture was part of his supports in the fight against COVID-19, adding that “this was done to reduce the effects of stay-at-home order occasioned by the raging pandemic virus.
OYOINSIGHT.COM understands that the bags of rice were collected by community leaders on behalf of their people.
While receiving the bags of rice on behalf of community leaders across Ibarapa, Alhaji Lateef Akinsanya (Aka Ajiboye), he thanked Dr Adewusi for always coming to the rescue of his people at the time of need.
In his own reaction, Mr Akinyemi Akinlabi stated that “Dr. Adewusi has always been a magnanimous Philanthropist long before he came into politics and he has always used whatever post God gives him to serve the people without considering political, religious, racial or sexual orientation. He also thank the Post Master General on behalf of the people of Ibarapaland.”
Akinlabi further advised “everyone should comply with the stay at home order, cultivate hygienic life, keep social distance and pray God privately for divine intervention to defeat the coronavirus.”
