PHOTOSPEAK: DIL ‘Pure Water’ Owner, Sir Isaac Akinpade, Laid To Rest

The remains of the owner of Nigeria’s pioneer sachet water company, Sir Isaac Adeagbo Akinpade, has been laid to rest.

The late Ibadan-born business mogul popularly known as DIL Pure Water, was buried at his country home in Akinpade Village, Akinyele local government area last Friday.

The celebration service was the climax to a weeklong event that started with an Evening of Tributes at Omo Ajorosun Clubhouse where he was a past president.

Earlier on Thursday, the late business icon was honored with a Commendation Service at The Cathedral of Light, Agodi Methodist Church Ibadan before his remains was conveyed in a motorcade to his ancestral home in Akinpade Village for a Christian Wake Keep service.

On Friday, A Celebration Service was held at the Methodist Church, Akinpade Village where his dedicated lifestyle to the glory of God, and benefit of mankind was eulogized by the Prelate Emeritus of the Methodist Church Nigeria, Dr. Sunday Ola Makinde.

He was later interred at a private ceremony attended by his wife of 56 years, Lady Margaret Adepeju Akinpade, his children and few family members.
