To celebrate the 50th coronation anniversary of the Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi 111, his son, Hon. Akeem Adeyemi Skimeh on Friday commissioned three motorised boreholes.
The boreholes commissioned by Hon. Skimeh, who represents Oyo East, Oyo West, Atiba and Afijio federal constituency, were located in three different communities.
The three communities are: Oluewu Community, Parakoyi, Oyo West LG; Baptist High School, Oke Isanmi Community, Ilora, Afijio L.G and Yara Parlour, Owode, Oyo East L.G
Later in the day, Hon. Skimeh empowered 550 Petty traders from the 4 local governments in his constituency with cash to boost their business.
