PHOTOS: SDGs Office Inspects Projects In Ogbomoso, Oyo, Ilora

The office of the Oyo State Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs, yesterday inspected ongoing school projects in Ogbomoso, Oyo and Ilora.

The on-the-spot inspection was led by the Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on SDGs, Hon. Kunle Yusuf (MON).

Yusuf, who reminded the consultant that his boss, Governor Seyi Makinde is from  Engineering profession, hence the need for a the projects to have value based, added that the present administration has moved on from the era of business as usual to the era of quality projects.

This is just as he added that Makinde and himself wouldn’t accept any sub-standard projects.

On their part, teachers at the schools visited by the SDGs, expressed their gratitude to Makinde for the massive edifice being erected at the schools coupled with conducive learning environment provided by the present admadministration.

The Parents Teachers Association, PTA, representatives used the occasion to pray for the success of the Makinde administration who has provided good structures in the schools, home grown school feeding programme, cancellation of school fees and provision of free notebooks and textbooks among others.

The PTA, however urged the SDGs to beef up security around the schools in order to prevent hoodlums from vandalising the structures put in place by the government.

The teachers from Baaki Ogbomoso and Odo-Oba tasked the government on enhancement training and retraining that will enhance efficiency and productivity from them.
