Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, has visited the country home of former governor Adebayo Alao-Akala, who passed on yesterday.
The Ogbomoso-born politician, OYOINSIGHT.COM had reported, died yesterday at 71.
The governor, who had had terminated the annual inter-faith programme after learning of the former governor’s death, arrived the ancient town in company of speaker Adebo Ogundoyin, Hosea Agboola and other state functionaries, especially those from Ogbomoso.
They were received by Olamiju, the former governor’s eldest son, after which the governor proceeded to greet the wives— Florence and Kemi Alao-Akala.
