    Former Deputy Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, has congratulated Alhaji Dahiru Zungeru on his installation as the new Seriki Hausawa of Ibadanland.

    Chief Adebayo Adelabu described the new Seriki Hausawa of Ibadanland, Alhaji Dahiru Zungeru, as a peace loving leader who will sustain the existing peaceful and cordial relationship between the Hausa community and the people of Ibadanland.

    The 2019 Governorship Candidate of the APC also attended Jumah service, alongside the new traditional ruler of the Hausa community at the Sabo Central Mosque, to identify with the Hausa community in Ibadanland.

    The Chief Imam of Sabo Central Mosque, Imam Abubakar Sa’adi, said the visit of Chief Adebayo Adelabu was not the first of its kind, Chief Adelabu is described as a true leader and an untribalized Nigerian by the cleric He prayed to Allah to grant him all his expedient heart desires

    Imam Abubakar commended Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for identifying with Muslim faithful and the entire Hausa community at all times, especially those at Sabo area of Ibadan.

    In a statement issued by one of the media aides to Chief Adebayo Adelabu, Comrade Femi Awogboro, the visit to Sabo Central Mosque by his Principal was not new, only that this coincided with the installation of Alhaji Dahiru Zungeru as the Seriki Hausawa of Ibadanland.

    Chief Adelabu was accompanied by the party leaders, former commissioners, former house of assembly members , former local government council chairmen and other associates across Oyo state, they included : Alhaji Wale Sanusi (Ib North), Hon Gbenga Olayemi Ariba (Ib.South West), Hon Wale Murphy (In North), Alh Jelili Agboola ( Ib North West), Hon Remi Adebayo (Lagelu), Alh Bukola Badmus ( Ogbomoso Zone), Hon Modepoola Egunjobi ( Iwajowa), Hon Iyiola Hammed Ambali (Akinyele) , Hon Fatai Adesina Salau ( Ibarapa North), Alhaji Balogun Tajudeen (Ib. S / W ), Hon Dapo Popoola (Saki West), Hon Abass Alesinloye (Oluyole), Hon Kayode Fagunwa (Ib. S/E), Hon Okeniyi Gbolagade Igbadun ( Atiba).
