Peller’s Lead Generation Initiative To Mark International Youth Day With Virtual Summit Today

Lead Generation Initiative (LGI), a non-governmental, non-partisan and non-profit organization, will today, 12th August 2021, hold a virtual Youth Safe Planet Summit as part of its activities to mark 2021 International Youth Day.

According to the National Secretary of the LGI, Stanley Ekpa Stanley, the topic of the summit aligns with the 2021 International Youth Day theme – Transforming Food Systems: Youth Innovation for Human and Planetary Health.

Furthermore, he explained that the summit, which will commence at 3pm prompt via the zoom platform, will address the need for inclusive support mechanisms that ensure youth continue to amplify efforts collectively and individually in protecting the planet, while integrating biodiversity in the transformation of food systems.

Some of the would-be discussants at the summit are Dr. Zainab Adamu Abubakar of the Department of Biological Science, Gombe State University, Mr. Deji Adebusoye, Principal Officer at Sahel Capital, and Vivian Chilaka, Emerging Development Consultants.

Similarly, a member of the Federal House of Representatives representing Iseyin/Itesiwaju/Kajola Iwajowa federal constituency, Hon. Shina Peller, who is also the founder of the LGI and Hon. Dachung Musa Bagos, a federal legislator representing Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency are expected to attend the virtual event.
