A former leader of the House of Representatives, Hon. Mulikat Akande Adeola has revealed that some people are after her life.
Akande Adeola, in a phone interview with OYOINSIGHT.COM, alleged that it cannot be unconnected with latest happenings within her Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the state.
This newspaper understands that the PDP is troubled as Seyi Makinde, governor of Oyo State, is up against some members who are dissatisfied over the handling of the party by Makinde.
According to the Ogbomoso-born two-term former federal lawmaker, said she got security reports from Ogbomoso and Ibadan that, unidentified men have been parading her houses at night for days now.
Though she is presently in Abuja, she said that her security men and political associates have implored her to stay away for now.
“I am also receiving phone calls from unknown callers, asking about whereabouts and at times when I picked these calls, the callers
will hang up immediately.
“I don’t know what I have done to warrant anyone sending a killer squad after me. I have neither been a part of the current administration nor running for any political position. So why is anybody after my life? What will be their gain after killing me?”
She, however, said she has informed her lawyer to take immediate action by informing all security agencies to investigate and track down all those behind the plot.
