Nurses and Midwives in Oyo State will join the 7 day nationwide strike by the National Association of Nigeria Nurses and Midwives on Wednesday.
The decision was communicated in a letter made available to OYOINSIGHT.COM signed by the association’s State Secretary, Aina Emmanuel on Tuesday.
The letter read: “Arising from the resolution of emergency National Executive Council meeting of NANN and subsequent directive received from NANNM National Headquarters, I write to notify you that all Nurses & Midwives across all health care institution (Federal, State & Local Government) are directed to embark on seven-day warning strike from 12:00am midnight Wednesday 30th July 2025 to 5th August 2025.”
