The lawmaker representing Ido/Ibarapa East federal constituency at the House of Representatives, Remi Oseni has declared that the state must return back to the All Progressives Congress in 2027.
Oseni made this declaration during his keynote address at the general assembly of the Remi Oseni Committee of Friends (ROCOF) on Saturday.
“Oyo cannot remain in opposition. In 2027, APC must take back Oyo State. That is our mission, and with unity, we shall achieve it. We must align with the Federal Government for greater progress.
“Our roads, schools, hospitals, industries, and farmers need federal support, and only alignment can guarantee this. Our traditional rulers are with us. Our market men and women, who share our ideology, are with us.
“Our youth, the lifeblood of tomorrow’s politics, are with us. Our mothers and fathers in every community are with us. By the special grace of Almighty God, APC will return to power in 2027. And we will not only return — we will return stronger, united, and prepared to deliver the dividends of democracy to our people.
Let us go back to our wards, to our local governments, to our communities, and spread the message of hope and unity. Let us continue to mobilize — because the people trust us, and they are looking to us for leadership. In 2027, by the grace of God, APC will rise again,” Oseni said.
