The caretaker chairman of Oyo East local government, Hon. Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, has donated to the Oyo State COVID-19
With the gesture, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, Arowosaye becomes the first official of the current administration to make donation to the cause.
Arowosaye, who said he preferred to make what he has donated unknown to the press, said it was out of love for humanity that he donated and not for political reason.
Only yesterday, the state revealed that it has reached the N200 million mark.
This is barely a week after the endowment fund was set up.
Besides the cash donation, Arowosaye has been relieving his people with food items and cash gifts due to the lockdown occasioned by the pandemic, coronavirus, which is threatening the world.
