The lawmaker representing Oyo central senatorial district, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, has congratulated one of his constituents, Zacch Adelabu Adedeji on his attainment of Doctor of Philosophy from the Faculty of Management & Accounting of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Nigeria.
According to Akintunde, he was happy to welcome Adedeji to the ranks of Ph.D, adding that Adedeji has always shown intellectual capacity ever since he met him.
From a silent Iwo-Ate community, 45-year old Adelabu attended Federal Polytechnic, Ede; OAU for his first degree and second degrees, coming out in all with distinction and first class. He is also an alumnus of Harvard.
“I met Zacch in 2011 when we were both appointed commissioners by our late former governor Abiola Ajimobi. He was the youngest among us. Visibly, he was brilliant and one of the engine rooms of the administration. He attracted many people to our administration through his kindheartedness.
“This Ph.D, for me, is long overdue. I am, however, happy that he has done the needful. This Ph.D, which is close to public sector finance, will help in no small to help Nigeria’s revenue generating drive. That was why I told people that Zacch was more than qualified for the job our president entrusted him with.
”I want to congratulate and celebrate you for this uncommon feat. May you continue to go higher as you continue in your quest to assist our country. I am happy to be associated with you,” Akintunde said.
