It was a heroic welcome yesterday at Oyo West local government yesterday as Hon. Kazeem Kolawole Raji visited All Progressives Congress, APC, members in the council area to intimate them of his intention to contest the 2023 national assembly election to represent Oyo central senatorial district.
Like he did when he began the consultation tour in his local government of Oyo East on Wednesday, K.K Raji as he is popularly known donated N1,000,000.00 for the enablement and mobilisation for INEC continuous voters registration.
Received by party leaders and members, the ICT expert was commended for his commitment to the party and the state in general.
An obviously-elevated KK Raji, while thanking the party faithful, appealed to the party faithful to always treat aspirants equally, adding that God alone knows who he has chosen to be in any position.
“It is in working together that the party can excel in 2023. There are many more gains ahead if we work together,” he said, appealing to those who felt aggrieved during the last congresses to let go of their grievances and work together with the Exco members to move the party forward.
He also encouraged the excos to mobilise members and everyone who do not have PVC to go for registration as soon as possible because without PVC, eligible voters will be disenfranchised.
