Alhaja Hamdalat Omotoyosi Olaoya of Aleshinloye Compound, Isale-Ijebu, Ibadan has died at the age of 99 years. The sad event occurred on Thursday, October 31, 2019.
The deceased was the mother of the State Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Hon. Mojeed Adekunle Olaoya, who was also a member of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Ibadan South East Constituency I between 1999 and 2003.
The remains of late Alhaja Olaoya have been interred in her politician son’s residence at Alabidun Quarters, Alakia-Airport, Ibadan on Thursday.
Until her death, she was a community leader and business woman. She is survived by two sons and many grandchildren.
Family sources announced that the 8th Day Fidau prayers would come up on Thursday next week at a venue to be announced later.
