    Oyo State APC is now reenergized by the Ibadan stakeholders meeting – Chief Akin Oke
    All aggrieved persons and groups are to be integrated as soon as possible to ensure victory in 2023 – Prof Taoheed Adedoja..
    These and several other expressions set the tone at a well attended meeting of stakeholders, leaders, and elders of (APC) All Progressives Congress APC in Ibadan land was held on Thursday January 21, 2021, at the Civic Center Idi Ape, Ibadan.
    Present at the meeting were Chief Akin Oke (State Chairman of APC) Otunba (Dr) Adebayo Alao Akala (Former Governor of Oyo State and leader of APC in Oyo State as well as Chairman of Oyo state Elders Advisory Council ably represented by Chief Wale Ohu, Professor Taoheed Adedoja (Former Minister of Sports and Special Duties and member of Oyo State Elders Advisory Council of the Party, Senator Teslim Folarin representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Hon Tolu Akande Sadipe Member of House of Representatives, Oluyole Federal Constituency, Hon Saheed Fijabi a former Member, Federal House of Representatives,

    Chief Yinka Adebayo, Member of Oyo State APC Elders aAdvisory Council, Dr. Fola Akinosun, Chief Lowo Obisesan Esq, a former Commissioner of Environment, Dr. Sola Ayandele a leading politician and former Governorship aspirant from Ibarapa zone among several party members, leaders and Stakeholders attended amidst glamour, pomp pageantry and electrifying excitement.
    The State Secretary of the Party Caretaker Committee, Hon. Mojeed Olaoya who welcomed members to the meeting on behalf of the organizers, explained that the meeting has the full blessing of the Caretaker Committee under the leadership of Chief Akin Oke and was conveyed to sensitize members of the Party in Ibadan land on their expected responsibilities when party registration commences.
    In his opening message, Hon Akeem Olatunji Akogun on behalf of other notable members of the Organising Committee which include Hon Murphy Adigun, a former member of Oyo State House of Assembly, Sina Alabi, Demola Solalu, Sanni Kazeem, Wale Sanusi, Wale Sadare APC Director of Publicity, Kola Amole, among others appreciated the leaders and members of the Party for their commitment and attendance.
    Lending support to the Ibadan gathering, Chief Akin Oke in his speech commended the efforts of the organizers which will go a long way in allaying the fears of other zones on the unity of members in ibadan land a zone considered as very critical and important in deciding political situation positioning in Oyo State.
    Otunba Adebayo Alao Akala, former Governor of Oyo State and APC Leader in Oyo State ably represented by Chief Wale Ohu assured party members that with this kind of development and replication of such meetings and repositioning agenda, APC in Oyo State is set to occupy Agodi Government House and take reign of governance in 2023 by the grace of God.
    Professor Taoheed Adedoja, former Minister of Sports and Special Duties and a leading frontline Ibadan politician advised that all efforts must be ensured that all aggrieved members are fully integrated back into the Party soonest in view of the relevance and critical roles of all persons in the advancement of the Progressive family.
    There were several goodwill messages from leading members of the Party and Stakeholders including Chief Adebayo Adelabu former Governorship candidate of APC in Oyo State during the last elections,  Senator Teslim Folarin representing Oyo South Senatorial district, Hon Tolu Akande Sadipe, Member representing Oluyole Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Hon Kehinde Subair former Majority Leader and Member Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon Saheed Fijabi, former member House of Representatives Hon Prince Abass Aleshinloye ALGON Chairman, Elder Gbade Sanda which all centred on sustaining all efforts towards repositioning the Party in Oyo State and ensure victory in the forth coming 2023 general elections.
    The meeting also paid glowing tributes to the former Governor and leader of the Party Late Senator Abiola Ajimobi and other notable leaders who recently died in the past few months while praying for the repose of their souls.
    The meeting concluded with assurances by the organisers of the event to reach out further and expand the synergy of cordial relationship among other zones, leaders, various stakeholders and party members with resolution that everyone should return back to their various local government and wards starting with consolidation of the Party towards mobilisation through active participation in the forthcoming Revalidation and Registration of new party members.
    Several notable leaders such as Dr Azeez Adeduntan, Senator Adesoji Akanbi, Chief Adeniyi Akintola sent in regrets and apologies for their unavoidable absence with assurances of their commitment.
