As a way of consolidating his consultation tour of major stakeholders within and outside the All Progressives Congress, APC, a gubernatorial aspirant, Engr Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe over the weekend met with local government chairmen who are of Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, origin.
This is just as the engineer cum accountant met with chairmen of APC who are also from the ancient city.
At the meeting, which held separately, the chairmen expressed joy and confidence over Tegbe’s ambition.
A statement from his media office stated that the chairmen affirmed Tegbe’s competence, “affirming that with someone of his caliber and professionalism, philanthropic deeds and experience both in the corporate world and public sector – where he is renowned for turning around the fortune of companies and advising on key policies, the APC will be assured of victory come 2019.”
This is just as Tegbe, who is a partner with KPMG and chairman of Centre for Management Development, promised not to disappoint them and their expectations, adding that “I am strongly encouraged to lead the party to victory and ensure that the people experience even greater dividends of sterling governance.”
