An organized youths group under the aegis of Oluyole Youths Movement has pledged its unalloyed support for the victory of all of the standard bearers of the African Democratic Congress, ADC in the coming general elections.
The group made the decision on Saturday at the familiarization contact moderated by Dr. Wasiu Adewale Olatubosun and Abeeb Idowu Balogun, the candidates of the party for the national and state house of assembly respectively.
At the parley which was held at the playing ground of Oluyole Estate Grammar School, Oluyole, the president of the cliq, Mr. Deji Agunbiade commended the two campaigners for deeming his team fit for to be reached out to in respect of the forthcoming polls.
In his address, the Ibadan North West and South West federal constituency hopeful, Olatubosun also thanked the youths for their commitment towards the making of new electoral order in the state.
He enjoined the assembly drawn from different zones of ward 12 of Ibadan South West local government ( the largest ward in Oyo State ) to religiously personalize his and other candidates’ ambitions on the platform of ADC as theirs.
He charged them to evangelize the gospel of the ADC across the length and breadth of their neighborhood by importantly sensitizing and massively mobilizing electorates to vote the party candidates.
Olatubosun therefore declared that decent and enabling support scheme in employment facilitation, people oriented social and economic empowerment for different category of youths as well as people initiated physical projects would form his major cardinal points of his activities if supported to win the next election.
Corroborating Dr. Olatubosun, Hon. Abeeb Idowu Balogun assured the youths of deserved attentions should ADC form the next state government in the state.
He however restated his readiness to continue supporting the group in its series of social and economic affairs so as to give sense of belonging to all the rank and file in the fold.
The women leader, Oluyole Youths Movement, Mrs. Damilola Alatise in her closing remarks thanked the duo of Dr. Olatubosun and Hon. Balogun for their words of hope and progress as she assured of the duo of block votes in all the polling units in the surrounding for the ADC.
