A governorship aspirant on the platform of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Engr. Raufu Aderemi Olaniyan has denied dumping the party for the the Action Democratic Party, ADP.
According to a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan last night by his media office, the Igboho-born politician noted that those peddling a photograph of him with ADP logo are simply engaging in wishful thinking.
The former Oyo State Road Maintenance Agency, OYSTROMA boss, however, remarked that he is a member of the Unity Forum and he will always work in line with the dictates of the leaders of the group.
Speaking further he maintained that the leadership of Unity Forum will determine the direction of his next move if there is any need for such.
Olaniyan who retired as a permanent secretary in the Oyo State Civil Service urged his supporters to remain calm and disregard the rumor making rounds, adding that when the leadership of the Unity Forum decides, they will be advised accordingly.
