In what turns out like putting an acclamation medal on the neck of the high ranking guber hopeful in Oyo State, Engineer Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, the association of Oyo State indigenes under the aegis of The Frontiers in London has pledged total support for the candidature of the engineer cum accountant.
Rising from its bimonthly meeting yesterday in South London, The Frontiers (TF) through its acting chairman, Barr Bolaji Morounfolu, made it known that the need to strengthen the existing infrastructural framework laid down by Governor Abiola Ajimobi by a worthy successor can not be glossed over.
He added that “peaceful environment is a sine qua non to individual, community, state and even business environment and with Governor Abiola Ajimobi, having laid a solid foundation for peace and creates enabling environment to address the primordial infrastructure deficit in Oyo state, it’s left to the good people of Oyo state to sustain the legacy by electing a capable driver on seat in 2019 to aid social progression and move the State to the next level.”
Morounfolu therefore called on all the indigenes of Oyo state residing abroad to go home and get their PVCs to make their dreams for a better Oyo state a reality.
He also warned of the danger of electing a “second best” aspirant in the state in the next election.
He said emphatically that the association has concluded its appraisal of the over twenty aspirants in Oyo state gunning for the number one seat and consider Tegbe the best among others who eminently satisfied all the standards laid down by the association.
He, therefore, call on the people of Oyo state to build a support base that will soften the ground for the emergence of Tegbe as the next governor of OYo state come 2019.
