Adebayo Adelabu and Seyi Makinde have emerged candidates of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, respectively.
At a separate primaries held simultaneously at the Adamasingba and Liberty Stadia, Adelabu emerged after other aspirants stepped down for him.
Makinde, on the other hand, defeated Senator Ayo Adeseun with 2772 and 21 votes.
