A renowned philanthropist and a notable chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Oyo State, Engr Muftau Open Salawu has extended his kind gesture to the less privilege in the society across Ogbomoso.
The food palliative programme was organised to ameliorate the plight of the less-privileged during this festive and Covid 19 period.
This same programme, OYOINSIGHT.COM understands, was organised across the same federal constituency in April this year which were aptly given to the communities through Community Development Association, CDA, chairmen.
The entire women leaders in the three councils of Ogbomoso North, Ogbomoso South, Oriire went home with a smile. Ward chairmen and youths leaders were not left out.
Over three hundred households benefitted from the goodwill of Open Salawu, a former special adviser on works and transport to late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
The beneficiaries of this progressive interventions appreciated Open Salawu for what they described as his untiring efforts towards lifting the vulnerable out of misery and wants.
They jointly prayed for an eventful journey in his future engagement and also prayed for his dear mother who passed on the same day Senator Abiola Ajimobi died. May Almighty God grant them both Aljanat firdaous.
Open Salawu, in is usual response and encouragement, said that “we should all be focused and committed to the course of good governance, justice and peace. I wish all Muslims all over the world Eid Mubaraq.”
